This may sound trivial, but if you've ever been caught in phone menu hell, or have been unable to get even the simplest question answered, you will appreciate this simple service. You will always be able to talk to a person to resolve your problem or leave a message for the appropriate person without being on hold for extensive periods of time. If a technician is not immediately available, your message is taken by an operator and immediately sent to a technician's desk or alpha-pager. A return call to you is initiated as soon as possible. If the call is urgent, the urgency of your issue is transmitted to that individual and will receive the proper attention.
Our monitoring service often allows us to know before you do when you are experiencing a network connectivity problem. We remedy many problems without the client ever knowing there was a problem. When appropriate, we provide an E-mail or phone call to alert you to the nature of the problem and its impact on your operations. You should know why something happened. Whenever a network problem occurs, we strive to provide you not only with knowledge of the problem but also why it happened and what was done to correct the problem.
Application Control Systems, Inc. was founded in 1988 to provide software and computer services to businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area. These services provided clients with terminals and printers at the client location for input and output functions while all data and computing functions were housed at the ACS data center much like Application Service Providers function today.
With the growing use of personal computers, ACS began offering network support services to new and existing clients. These services and the addition of the Internet have led to the current ACS company profile of an Internet Service Provider with complete Network Integration Services and an in-depth knowledge of Applications and Systems. Today ACS provides Wide Area Network connections for both Internal Corporate Connections as well as Internet connectivity including DSL, T1, Frame-Relay and others. Consulting services include Wide Area and Local Area Network Design functions as well as Software and Hardware vendor selection. Hosting services encompass web site hosting on ACS servers as well as dedicated server hosting.
